...to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God—children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.

Lord God, how thankful we are that You call us Your children. We are humbled in Your presence by Your unconditional love that brings us to our knees. It is beyond our comprehension as to why You would choose to love sinners who have turned against You in so many ways, yet You have promised that nothing in all the heavens and the earth can separate us from Your love. You are an awesome God!

As Your children, we know that we must be disciplined so that we might walk in Your ways, leading to Your victory. Help us to understand Your love for us when You must lead and guide us as Your sheep. Help us to be an encouragement to each other, as part of Your family, in order to build up Your Kingdom. We pray that we will draw nearer to You in every way.
