Ephesians 2:4–5
Key Verses: (NIV)

But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.

Lord Father, how do I repay Your love and gift of eternal life? The mere fact that You took mercy on this lost soul humbles me and amazes me. At times when I look in the mirror, I wonder what it is You see in this sinful person staring back at me. Then I realize that You accept me just as I am, dirty patches and all.

When I feel hopeless, it is Your mercy, grace, and sacrifice that bring me hope. When I am lost, it is Your light of love that I cling to in the darkness. I am so thankful that Your grace is made new each and every day. Some days are better than others for me, but I know that during those bad ones, You're right by my side, guiding and comforting. Each day, I am washed clean by that grace, and You never hold my shortcomings against me. Thank You Jesus for the glorious love You've show me.

In Jesus' Name, Amen.
